Janelle, I received your newsletter. I run a division for Goodwill Industries here in Akron that does assembly and packaging as well as sewing product like High Visibility Safety Vests. We do this with persons with disabilities that we either employ or provide job training/work experience services to. Our mission is to help people prepare for, find and retain employment. I truly enjoy my work but I am always impressed with what other alumni are doing in various parts of the world. I am married to Mary Beth and have three little boys, Nathanael (Nat-9), Peter (Pete-7) and Benjamin (Ben-4). They keep us busy but we love them. Thanks, Phil Stauffer VP of Industrial Services Goodwill Industries of Akron, Ohio

Thank you for sending the Eastern alumni update. I graduated from the SILD International Economic Development Program in 2002 (MBA), and have been serving as the director of an NGO called Operation Mercy in the country of Tajikistan. We have lived in Tajikistan a little over 3 years, and have been involved in a number of relief and development projects. We are currently in Thailand on a break, but will be returning to Tajikistan this summer. I also appreciate the notice of the job opportunities at Eastern and would be interested to keep receiving those. Our hope is to remain in Tajikistan for several more years, but upon returning to the States, we do not know what our plans will be. Blessings, Paul Linge Country Director- Tajikistan Operation Mercy Email: pblinge@pmbx.net Web: www.operationmercytajikistan.org
